Arkham reveals the dynamics that drive digital asset markets, empowering players to achieve superior results.

To allow any third party to view and analyze them, blockchain transactions are essentially public. On the other hand, this raw transaction data is anonymous and unprocessed. This means that this data is useless. It needs to be researched and anonymized. Here’s what you need: Arkham. Arkham is a crypto intelligence platform. It regularly analyzes and anonymizes blockchain transactions, showing its users the people and companies behind blockchain activity. Arkham leverages Ultra, a unique AI-powered algorithmic address matching engine, to produce intelligence at scale. Through a methodical process that links blockchain addresses to physical assets and delivers comprehensive analytics and aggregated data, Arkham uncovers the dynamics driving digital asset markets, empowering industry players to achieve superior results. The Arkham Intel Exchange, a decentralized system for trading data and tags that aims to vastly improve market liquidity, was also introduced in this blog post. Arkham improves the transparency, efficiency and fairness of cryptocurrency markets by generating intelligence at scale and promoting its dissemination.

Here are four theses about the role crypto and intelligence play in Arkham:

Anonymization is inevitable. When the internet first started, everyone used pseudonyms. Now people go online using their real identities. The microcosm of this change was the transition from MySpace to Facebook. Think of the emergence of ENS and NFT profile photos as examples of how the same dynamic is happening with blockchain identities. Everyone’s real identity and blockchain identity will eventually be linked.

Crypto data access will be distributed. In the traditional financial world, information is kept private and protected by major participants such as banks, brokers, exchanges and regulators. Since blockchains are public, raw transaction data in the cryptocurrency space is accessible to all parties. But in actual use, data platforms need to process, aggregate and analyze the data before it can be used.

Bitcoin is starting to play an important role in the world financial system. Cryptocurrency will be widely accepted because it has a stronger, more reliable and more efficient financial system. Once you use crypto, you cannot remove it. After making important transfers seamlessly in a web wallet, it becomes inconvenient to explain to your bank in a wire transfer form who you want to send your money to and why. Every major technological change faces opposition and other challenges, but overcomes them through a process known as creative destruction. The same will be true for cryptocurrency.

The use of crypto intelligence will become widespread. Technologies are accepted in different ways, depending on their cost of production and how they are used. Rockets belong to governments and large corporations, but millionaires use smartphones just like everyone else. Crypto intelligence tools are more like smartphones in a world where everyone uses cryptocurrency. From multi-billion dollar companies trading complex derivatives to individuals tracking stablecoin remittances back home, everyone can use them.

Platform Intelligence

The development of crypto intelligence faces three main obstacles:
Collection: Finding and collecting reliable and continuous sources for relevant off-chain and on-chain data.
Aggregation: Bringing all this data together into a single, queryable source of truth that can provide whatever information is needed.

Attribution: Assigning real people to addresses based on this data.
Ultra was built by Arkham to address these problems. Ultra is a blockchain data synthesis proprietary AI system that aggregates and combines off-chain and on-chain data from various sources to create a single, scalable and fungible source of truth. With Ultra, Arkham can easily transform raw blockchain transaction data into an understandable picture of cryptocurrency users and their activities, such as exchanges and trading companies. Currently, the Arkham platform has 200,000 asset pages and over 350 million tags.

The Profiler is the heart of the Arkham platform. The activity of a legal entity or address is seen holistically in The Profiler, which includes Ability to filter and sort trading history by time, counterparty, token and USD value, assets in portfolio, history in balance, gains and losses, use of exchanges, leading counterparties
Profiler serves as the central component of the platform, as it provides a range of intelligence to paint a complete picture of an asset or address’s behavior. The following extra features make it possible to use this asset information to gain a deeper understanding:

Visualizer: Filterable network analysis of counterparties and assets/addresses based on any key dimension.

Custom tagging: Capacity to generate entities and tags with custom addresses

Alerts: Transaction alerts that can be customized by size, asset, blockchain and token

Dashboards: Pages that quickly provide important details for personalized asset groups

API: Direct access to Ultra for unique queries

Archive: Historical analysis of cryptocurrency holdings at any point in a company’s history
Integration of Multiple Chains
While analytical techniques are often chain-specific, the scope of intra-chain analysis is rare. Arkham uses Ultra to reconcile cross-chain data and by default aggregates, aggregates and correlates information across chains to build a comprehensive intelligence picture. However, Arkham can also separate and parse data by chain, making it possible to analyze a specific chain or selection of chains as needed.

Arkham Filters

The previous blockchain analytics paradigm did not provide a systematic way to filter transactions. It was necessary to export to an external source or scan transaction pages to find the data needed. Arkham offers systematic transaction filtering, enabling transactions on the network to be sorted and filtered by key parameters such as counterparty, time, token and USD value.

Profile Builder

The Arkham intelligence foundation is holistic data on asset or address activities. The platform feature that allows you to see a comprehensive, real-time picture of an asset’s actions and history across the chain is called the Profiler. Information is presented as Units, which are components of the Arkham user interface. Certain types of information can be displayed by units. There are four units for the Profiler.

Portfolio: instant assets in the past and present

Past Performance: balance the past with past gains and losses.

Counterparties: best address/institution counterparties and exchange usage

Transactions: a fully updated, real-time log of all past transactions
The asset’s current on-chain portfolio, broken down by token and chain, is displayed via the Portfolio Unit. In addition, it has Archive, which allows portfolio holdings to be compared between any two points in time.
The entire portfolio balance in USD is shown over time in the Historical Performance Unit. Profit and loss history and overall balance history are two perspectives. The value of the tokens in USD at the time they are first transferred to the entity is used as the cost basis for calculating profit and loss.

The Counterparties Unit shows the volume of exchange usage over time, broken down into deposits and withdrawals. The largest total counterparties by volume are also shown.

The most detailed analysis of legal entity behavior is possible with the Transactions Unit. The entire trading history of the legal entity is updated and displayed in real time. Importantly, transactions can be filtered and sorted along various dimensions as described in section 2.3, making it possible to find important transactions even if they are hidden deep in a legal entity’s history.

When combined, the Profiler Units paint a picture of legal entity activity over time, along chains and at various levels of granularity. This picture is comprehensive enough to assist in a wide range of analysis tasks.

The visualizer facilitates network analysis of entity relationships by generating a network graph for a selected address or subset of entities. Nodes in Visualizer networks are entities connected by transactions. They can be fully customized using Arkham filters to show only the transactions that interest you. Visualizer is best suited for entity relationship analysis, while Profiler provides a comprehensive view of entity behavior. It makes it easy to intuitively understand the relationships between different entities, leading to insights that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to obtain.
Alerts are designed for real-time monitoring and action in response to noteworthy activity. It instantly identifies interesting transactions in the never-ending flurry of network activity and alerts Arkham users – via preferred platform – about transactions that meet personalized standards defined by Arkham filters.

Using the Dashboard, users can create bespoke data feeds by aggregating interesting entities and addresses. The main page of the dashboard shows a list of monitored assets and their most recent trades. Users can create custom dashboards for assets and data of interest, such as “market makers”, “ETH whales”, “OTC desks”, etc. All kinds of custom entities are included in these dashboards, including assets, balance histories and transactions for one or more companies. Dashboards can be easily shared by users with others via URL.

Arkham Intel Exchange and Intel-to-Earn.

Anyone interested in acquiring or trading crypto intelligence can connect through the Arkham Intel Exchange. Anyone can trade local currency ARKM for information such as asset tags, hacker tracking and selected data streams in this decentralized intelligence economy. Buyers put up bounties to demand intelligence. Sellers use auctions to provide intelligence. No central organization holds the money during bounties or auctions; instead, everything is done through supervised smart contracts.

Exchange Concept

Blockchain intelligence has had an inefficient and dispersed economy. There is a huge supply of intelligence generated by a vibrant community of on-chain detectives and a huge demand for intelligence from traders, journalists, researchers and other observers, but there is nowhere for these two sides of the market to connect. This problem has been solved by the Arkham Intel Exchange, which provides a forum for communication and intelligence sharing between buyers and sellers. By allowing the free flow of intelligence, the exchange increases the efficiency of both the intelligence market and the cryptocurrency market in general.
