Smithonia is the realm that SmithyDAO is building. It is home to Smithonian Weapons and acts as the hub of a connected crafting layer in the metaverse.
A product of the Arbitrum network, SmithyDAO functions inside the Treasure Ecosystem and facilitates an off-chain/in-game hybrid economy of resources and currencies. It serves the $MAGIC token well, and Smithonia, its main product, has a direct bearing on the world economy and the larger cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Dynamic NFTs
The main players in SmithyDAO’s Smithonia are the Living Weapon and Hollow Weapon NFTs. Gold coins can be obtained by gathering and other activities, and resources may be traded on the Treasure Marketplace. A minor Magic payment can be made to participate in Magical Gathering Missions, which raises the possibility of receiving higher rewards. Restoration Points, formerly called Devotion or Loyalty Points, are awarded to players that restore the old city using the resources they have collected.
Using the $MAGIC token, the game runs on a hybrid economy of in-game and off-chain currency and assets linked to the larger cryptocurrency and global markets.
Every one of the seven in-game weapons begins as wooden material, but players who level them up into epic weapons will need to keep playing the game and gather the necessary manufacturing materials. The seven armaments consist of:

Quests
Compile materials through missions and adventures for leveling up your Wooden Weapon. As you go more within Smithtonia, you can find additional stories, stronger gear, and crafting supplies. There are four different kind of missions, each with varying levels of difficulty and participation requirements: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Magic. Burning resources and TreasureNFTs earns Devotion Points, which are used to reward the top 100 players in the Hall of Fame. The $MAGIC leaderboard winners receive royalty for the Living Weapons collection.
Rewards for completing quests can range from experience points to cash, NFTs, live weapons, and outside of the chain items like potions, maps, and others. To reduce risk and enable the development of a more reliable system, these off-chain awards will stay off-chain for the initial three months of gameplay before finally being convertible to NFTs.
