(CZ) Changpeng Zhao, the founder and CEO of Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, is rumored to resign by accepting the charges against him.
It was stated that Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao will resign by accepting the charges against him, such as money laundering. It is reported that CZ will accept these charges, confess and come to an agreement. Other sources claim that CZ will pay a fine of over $ 4 billion by accepting these charges. It is only a matter of time before CZ makes a defense in a federal court in Seattle.
Sec Files Lawsuit Against Binance
US regulators filed a lawsuit against cryptocurrency exchange Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao, or CZ, for running a “web of lies”.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a petition in federal court in Washington, D.C., bringing 13 different charges against Binance, CZ and the U.S. cryptocurrency exchange.
The SEC accused Binance of creating artificial trading volumes, misusing customers’ funds without authorization, and failing to prevent US citizens from using the platform.
Last night, it was reported that over 4 billion dollars was requested to resolve the ongoing investigations and lawsuits against Binance in the US.
