Overview
With privacy and modularity at its foundation, Asterizm is a plug-and-play blockchain interoperability solution for businesses, web3 protocols, and finance applications. Built with agility and privacy as its primary goals. The modularity of the infrastructure and the privacy of payloads sent between networks form the basis of the Asterizm concept.
The owner of the Client’s server, which acts as the transport layer for data and transaction proofs, is the only person with access to all data (payload). The only purpose of Asterizm Relayer servers is to act as a transport layer for cross-chain transaction proofs, which take the form of a unique transaction ID (xID) and a payload hash.
Every cross-chain transaction undergoes integrity checks and on-chain validation using the Asterizm Connector. It accomplishes this by using the hash, payload, and distinct transaction ID (xID) that it obtained from the client and relay servers. The Client’s security loop and any system can quickly and easily integrate the Client server module, whBuildings
Architecture
Fundamentally, confidentiality and dependability
The foundation of Asterizm technology is the premise of on-chain validation and verification of authenticity for cross-chain transactions. These transactions occur within the contracts of the Asterizm Connector on the destination network, utilizing information obtained from off-chain entities to offer a decentralized, highly cost-effective, and exceptionally low latency cross-chain communication channel.
Using the Asterizm Connector as an on-chain module and two distinct off-chain entities—Asterizm Relayers and the Client off-chain module—Asterizm secures cross-chain transactions.
Key Concept
The architecture aims to ensure the reliability and accuracy of cross-chain transactions without relying on off-chain consensus or centralized approaches in EVM and non-EVM networks. It also ensures the privacy of data transferred between chains, allows for plug-and-play integration of various products, and offers flexibility and transparency in use.
Asterizm’s aim is to provide a modular and confidential link across several public or private chains using a transparent system for on-chain transaction validity and integrity verification, as well as a unique off-chain architecture. This off-chain component acts as a transport layer for xID and hash payloads, which are transaction proofs.
The hash is generated in the source network on the client smart contract based on transaction data, payload, source and destination chain addresses, and several other parameters.
Using transaction data, payload, source and destination chain addresses, among other criteria, the hash is created on the client smart contract on the source network.
Advantages of Asterizm
Scalability, economic efficiency, privacy, and security
In accordance with industry standards, Asterizm was created as a way to create cross-chain protocols while maintaining data privacy and data transmission reliability between EVM and non-EVM public/private networks:
We predict that the market for blockchain solutions will continue to be fragmented and that businesses, governments, and web3 protocols will all concurrently function in many ecosystems (networks), utilizing the advantages and best aspects of each.
The Asterizm concept is centered around privacy and modularity, as the absence of privacy in the cross-chain business significantly diminishes the technology’s usefulness. Sending sensitive information such as corporate and personal financial messages is hazardous or unfeasible due to data privacy regulations. This is particularly true when it comes to web2 companies expanding into the web3 market.
Privacy
There is no access to the communicated payload for Privacy Astrezim or any other third party. This is because the proofs of legality and integrity of this data (hash from payload, xID), on the other hand, are transferred through relay servers, whereas all data (payload) is transmitted solely from Network 1 to Network 2 through the client’s server.
This is particularly important when it comes to private network cross-chain communication. In these situations, the cross-chain transaction’s content is solely accessible to the sender and recipient, guaranteeing a high degree of anonymity. This is especially important for businesses that share data with other businesses in different private chains.
Fast speed – Cheap price
Their novel on-chain validation-based protocol design eliminates the need for them to uphold a convoluted economic structure in order to reach consensus.
Because of this, all cross-chain transactions process at one of the lowest rates available on the market and nearly quickly.
The ability to scale
Because cross-chain transaction costs and speeds are independent of transaction volume and frequency, you can create cross-chain apps that are responsive without going over budget.
Safety
Asterizm protects data secrecy in addition to validity and integrity in cross-chain transactions. Asterizm Connector functions as an on-chain module, and two unconnected entities—the client’s server and the Asterizm relayer server—perform both off-chain and on-chain verification. The infrastructure will stay resilient against both internal and external attack vectors thanks to its architecture.
